UNITI Acquires a Majority Stake in Continental Foncier for Sustainable Housing

UNITI, a French real estate developer, announced the acquisition of a 64.96% stake in Continental Foncier, a specialist in affordable, low-carbon housing. This strategic partnership strengthens UNITI's position in the sustainable housing market. Continental Foncier's founders, Hervé Demeure and Alain Tricoche, retain a 35.04% stake, ensuring managerial continuity. Since 2008, Continental Foncier has innovated with its timber-frame construction and Kilivea range, reducing pollution and CO₂ emissions.
This merger aims to address climate challenges and structure a low-carbon housing sector in France. UNITI will provide Continental Foncier with an expanded network of customers, while the transaction is expected to be profitable from the first financial year following its planned completion on July 1, 2025.
