United Labels AG Sees Profit Margin Rise Amid E-Commerce Growth

United Labels AG reported a mixed set of preliminary financial results for 2024. The company's consolidated sales reached €22.5 million, marking a 9.3% decrease from the previous year due to a 19% fall in its key account segment. Despite this, the specialist retail and e-commerce segment showed a robust 47% increase in revenue, with e-commerce alone surging by 91%. This aligns with the company's strategic shift towards enhancing its e-commerce focus.

The gross profit margin climbed significantly by 9.8 percentage points to 37.1% as a result of higher-margin activities in the e-commerce sector. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose by 20% to €1.2 million, indicating improved profitability.

Looking ahead, United Labels plans to boost its key account and brand ranges while continuing to expand its e-commerce operations, forecasting further sales and profit growth for 2025.
