Turkiye Garanti Bankasi Secures CMB Approval for Foreign Bond Issuance
Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has received approval from the Capital Markets Board (CMB) for bond issuance aimed at foreign markets. The announcement, dated July 8, 2026, follows the establishment of the Global Medium Term Notes (GMTN) program by the bank. This program allows the issuance of borrowing instruments in various currencies and maturities.
The CMB issuance certificates cover notes with two different International Securities Identification Numbers (ISINs). The first ISIN, XS3435389526, pertains to a USD 50 million note maturing on January 8, 2028. The second ISIN, XS3436179330, is for a EUR 10 million note, maturing on October 1, 2028. Both have an issue date of July 8, 2026.
