Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Sells Non-Performing Loan Portfolios

Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has completed the sale of its non-performing loan portfolios totaling TL 1.548 billion in principal and contractual interest. This move involved transactions with three different companies: Efes Varlık Yönetim A.Ş., Doğru Varlık Yönetim A.Ş., and Emir Varlık Yönetim A.Ş., with individual transactions amounting to TL 76 million to TL 77 million each.

The total consideration for these sales amounts to TL 229 million. The transaction dates were set for February 18, 19, and 20 in the year 2026. Each transaction involved the sale of receivables from loans, credit cards, and other financial liabilities.

This strategic move aligns with Garanti BBVA's efforts to manage asset quality and improve financial stability. The bank confirmed the accuracy and compliance of the disclosed information with regulatory standards.
