Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Sells Non-Performing Loan Portfolio

Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has announced the sale of its non-performing loan portfolio. The loans included various types of receivables, such as loans, credit cards, and overdraft loans, along with their interest components. The total face and contractual interest value of the portfolio reached TL 2.027 billion as of late April and early May 2026.

The portfolio was sold for a total of TL 353.5 million to several companies: Adil Varlık Yönetim A.Ş., Dünya Varlık Yönetim A.Ş., Emir Varlık Yönetim A.Ş., and Gelecek Varlık Yönetimi A.Ş. The transactions were divided into five separate portfolios, with varying considerations for each set of receivables.

This strategic move aligns with Garanti BBVA's efforts to manage its balance sheet by offloading non-performing assets. The bank affirms the accuracy of the disclosed information, consistent with the Turkish principles of financial disclosure.
