Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. Obtains CMB Approval for Bond Issuance
Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S. has received approval from the Capital Markets Board (CMB) for bond issuance in foreign markets under its Global Medium Term Notes (GMTN) program. Originally established in 2013, this program allows the bank to issue borrowing instruments in various currencies, series, and maturities.
The latest approval includes two issuances: a USD 400 million bond and a EUR 100 million bond, both set to mature on August 16, 2029. These issuances aim to strengthen the bank's funding capabilities in international markets.
This development reflects the bank's adherence to the Board’s Communiqué, ensuring alignment with their internal records and maintaining transparency in their operations.
