Troy Minerals Announces Promising Drilling Results at Lake Owen Project
Troy Minerals Inc. reported significant findings from its initial drilling at the Lake Owen Project in Wyoming. The results from Hole LO24-01 indicated continuous critical metal mineralization over 240.73 meters. Key elements include titanium dioxide (TiO2) at 1.53% and vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) at 0.10%, alongside iron, scandium, and gallium. The project demonstrates potential similar to the Stillwater Complex in the USA and the Merensky Reef in South Africa.
The company's first drill holes, totaling 607.77 meters, focused on magnetite-associated titanium and vanadium mineralization. Sampling revealed elevated vanadium correlating with titanium, especially in green gabbro zones. Despite one drill hole showing no significant values, initial samples prompted extensive infill sampling, yielding strong results.
Future exploration plans include further sampling and mapping, aiming to refine targets for the 2026 drilling season. These efforts underscore Troy Minerals' commitment to maximizing shareholder value through strategic development of its critical mineral assets.
