Total Telcom Inc. Enhances Water-TraX for Military and Security Use
Total Telcom Inc., through its subsidiary ROM Communications, has upgraded its Water-TraX platform to support Military and Security applications. This enhancement goes by the new Site-TraX branding. The launch targets markets in North and South America using current and new distribution partnerships.
The upgraded system now includes magnetic field detection for monitoring movements around sensitive locations such as borders and restricted areas. It also integrates RFID technology for improved site access and emergency response applications.
CEO Neil Magrath mentioned that the hardware improvements include a 30% increase in battery capacity and better weather protection. Water-TraX remains focused on environmental monitoring, while Site-TraX's flexibility allows for rapid custom application development.
