TonnerDrones Converts €2M Debt into Equity
TonnerDrones, a key player in the drone industry, has effectively reduced its debt burden by converting €2 million into shares. This strategic move, executed at a premium of 10.1% over the 20-day volume-weighted average price, resulted in the issuance of 66,666,720 shares. Consequently, an equal number of warrants have been retired. This conversion enhances TonnerDrones' equity base and curtails financial expenses, originally set with a debt maturing at the end of 2027.
With this conversion, the industrial partner becomes a new shareholder, aligning with a group now holding over 35% of TonnerDrones' shares. Diede van den Ouden, CEO and Chairman, retains a significant position with 11.3% ownership. Van den Ouden expressed optimism about the firm’s path, highlighting recent fundraising efforts totaling €1.5 million in early August. The company remains vigilant, scouting market opportunities to bolster its strategic goals for sustained growth.
