Tonner Drones Acquires Azur Drones to Boost Security and Defense Market

Tonner Drones has signed a binding agreement to acquire Azur Drones from Drone Volt, marking a significant expansion in the defense and security sectors. The acquisition, which awaits court approval, will strengthen Tonner's "Drone-in-a-Box" solution, Skeyetech, recognized for its autonomous surveillance capabilities.

This strategic move allows Tonner Drones to maintain a debt-free operational model, aiming for profitability through reduced operating costs. Financed through existing cash, the acquisition does not dilute shareholder value. The collaboration with Drone Volt is expected to enhance technological synergy, leveraging expertise in robotics and automation.

Azur Drones’ technology, with over €50M in prior R&D investments, positions it for a growing market expected to reach €7B by 2035. The transaction aligns with Tonner Drones' strategy of pursuing profitable opportunities without additional share issuance, thereby safeguarding shareholder interests.
