Tocvan Ventures Receives Permit for Gran Pilar Pilot Mine Facility
Tocvan Ventures Corp. announced the receipt of a permit approval for a 50,000-tonne pilot mine facility at the Gran Pilar Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. This development marks a significant step towards production for the company. The facility includes a 50,000-tonne heap leach pad and a 4.5-hectare infrastructure layout for hydrometallurgical processing.
Operational goals for the pilot include processing 50,000 tonnes with a gold grade of 1.2 g/t and a 70% recovery rate. This approval complements Tocvan's earlier permits for 45 drill pads and 67 trenches aimed at exploring high-grade gold and silver zones within the 21 km² project area. Recent drilling results highlighted the project's strong potential, with notable intersections reported earlier in the year.
The pilot facility aims to advance exploration and optimize extraction methods. High gold recovery rates in past metallurgical studies bolster the project's economic potential. Tocvan is focused solely on its 100% controlled area to enhance shareholder value.
