Tocvan Ventures Initiates Drilling at North Block of Gran Pilar Project
Tocvan Ventures Corp has launched its maiden drilling program at the North Block of the Gran Pilar Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. This marks the first drilling activity within a 3.2 km by 1.5 km zone exhibiting strong mineralization indicators. Initial site preparations are complete, including road access and drill pads. The company is executing an initial phase of 2,000 meters of drilling, with plans for an additional 3,000 meters.
Recent surface samples in the North Alteration Zone revealed promising results, with assays showing 5.6 g/t Au and 106 g/t Ag over 2 meters. Historically, mine samples have returned up to 3.2 g/t Au and 1,225 g/t Ag. Three new targets with historical workings have been identified, exhibiting vein breccia and quartz veining, enhancing the exploration potential.
The project, spanning over 22 square kilometers, is prepared for over 30,000 meters of drilling, integrating geophysical, mapping, and geochemical data to support near-term production goals.
