Tocvan Ventures Announces Major Gold-Silver Discovery in Sonora, Mexico
Tocvan Ventures Corp. has reported a significant near-surface gold-silver discovery at its Gran Pilar Project in Sonora, Mexico. The highlight includes a 215-meter intercept grading 0.6 g/t Au, beginning at a depth of 36.6 meters. This is part of the El Mezquite trend, situated 1,900 meters from the proposed pilot production site. The upper zone measures 86.9 meters at 0.6 g/t Au, while the lower zone extends 70.2 meters at 0.9 g/t Au. High-grade intervals have displayed up to 16.0 g/t Au and 57 g/t Ag over 1.5 meters.
Such findings significantly enhance Gran Pilar's development prospects, emphasizing Tocvan's potential as a gold-silver producer. The results come from five drilled holes totaling 1,244.5 meters, with further results pending from additional drilling conducted this year. The discovery is expected to increase the site's mining potential and strengthen Tocvan's position within Mexico's mining sector.
