TGV SRAAC Selects Thyssenkrupp Nucera for Plant Expansion

Indian caustic soda leader TGV SRAAC has chosen Thyssenkrupp Nucera for a significant expansion of its chlor-alkali plant in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The project aims to boost the plant's capacity by 50%, increasing daily production from 1,000 to 1,500 tons of caustic soda.

Thyssenkrupp Nucera will supply three proprietary electrolyzers, employing their latest BiTAC technology known for high energy efficiency. This collaboration, part of a 20-year partnership, underscores the proven efficacy of Thyssenkrupp Nucera's chlor-alkali solutions in enhancing production capabilities.

TGV Group Chairman, T.G. Venkatesh, expressed confidence in Thyssenkrupp Nucera’s state-of-the-art technology. Dr. Roland Beckmann and Kiran Joseph from Thyssenkrupp Nucera highlighted the project's strategic significance and their commitment to innovation and customer collaboration.
