On April 29, 2026, ThunderSoft launched its latest product, "AquaDrive AIOS 2.1," at Auto China in Beijing. This new release is an advanced solution for intelligent vehicles, integrating driving, autonomous systems, navigation, and AI agents. It signals a move from Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) to AI-Native Defined Vehicles (AIDV). The AquaDrive AIOS 2.1 helps set a clear path for progressing and implementing AIDV across the automotive value chain.

This software boasts six key features: cockpit-driving fusion, AI agent integration for autonomous driving, unified interaction interfaces, real-world space integration, an upgraded 3D rendering engine, and enhanced night vision capabilities. These allow OEMs to reduce project timelines, tier 1 suppliers to benefit from global deployment with reduced barriers, and consumers to experience seamless AI interactions.
