Threshold crossings at Ubisoft by JP Morgan Chase & Co.
On July 27, 2026, JP Morgan Chase & Co. announced that it had fallen below the 10% voting rights threshold in Ubisoft, holding 9.93% of the voting rights at that time. This change resulted from an off-market sale of shares. However, on July 29, 2026, an acquisition allowed them to cross this threshold again, reaching 10.91% with 16,063,522 shares.
JP Morgan manages options and convertible bonds linked to Ubisoft shares, with no intention of acquiring control. The shares will be adjusted according to clients' hedging needs, with a current borrowing of 8,002,239 shares to cover the "delta" of the options held.
The company has no pre-established strategy regarding Ubisoft and rules out requesting the appointment of an administrator. The operations are primarily aimed at managing client positions.
