Thermador Groupe Acquires C2AI for €8.7 Million

On June 30, 2025, Thermador Groupe finalized the acquisition of C2AI, a company based in Décines, France. The transaction involved purchasing 100% of C2AI's parent company, MMT, for €8.7 million, paid in cash. Post-acquisition, the combined net cash position of both companies stood at €200,000. Financial support for the deal came from CIC Lyonnaise de Banque and Société Générale through two 7-year fixed-rate loans.
C2AI is known for developing measuring instruments, fluid control systems, and environmental monitoring devices, servicing a broad industrial clientele. In 2024, C2AI reported a turnover of €11.3 million and an EBITDA of €1.423 million. The company employs 45 people, predominantly based in the Lyon area.
The acquisition complements Thermador's offerings in industrial instrumentation through its affiliates, Sectoriel and Distrilabo. Gilles Marchand, C2AI's founder, will continue as CEO until the end of 2029, ensuring a smooth integration into Thermador Groupe.
