The second edition of the Festival of Masterpieces of Chinese Opera was celebrated in Binzhou.

The second edition of the Festival of Masterpieces of Rare Genres of Chinese Opera was held in Boxing County, Binzhou, under the theme "Guyun Xisheng, Zhenyao Huazhang." The event, organized by the Chinese Dramatists Association and other partners, aims to preserve and revitalize these endangered forms of opera.

These operas are distinguished by their local roots, limited distribution, and the scarcity of their performers. They possess high artistic value and a rich cultural heritage, embodying the local dialects and customs of Chinese civilization. More than one hundred troupes participated this year, with thirty-six works selected, illustrating progress in the preservation of these genres.
