The Royal Mint has unveiled a UK commemorative coin honoring Pink Floyd, symbolizing their enduring legacy in music. The coin's reverse design features the iconic prism from "The Dark Side of the Moon," a testament to the band's innovative spirit. Some coins include a rainbow prism effect, reflecting Pink Floyd's artistic vision.

This coin is part of The Royal Mint's Music Legends series, celebrating British music icons like David Bowie and Freddie Mercury. The series has reached collectors in 108 countries. The Pink Floyd coin is available from May 14, 2026, starting at £18.50.

Rebecca Morgan of The Royal Mint expressed pride in preserving Pink Floyd's legacy through this release. Additionally, a limited-edition plectrum, tied to the band's history, is available in gold, silver, and dark chrome.
