SLAM Exploration Advances Goodwin Project with VTEM Survey
SLAM Exploration Ltd. is deploying a VTEM survey at the Goodwin copper-nickel-cobalt project in New Brunswick, Canada. This survey aims to identify potential drilling targets for its 2026 diamond drilling program. The company has identified 432 anomalies and constructed models for 24 conductors, indicating possible extensions of known mineralization zones at depths ranging from 30 to 320 meters.
The Goodwin project covers 14,000 hectares in the Bathurst Mining Camp, a mineral-rich area. SLAM's upcoming 7,000-meter drilling program will examine potential extensions beyond its three known zones of mineralization. Previous drilling reported significant mineral intercepts, such as a 64.90-meter core grading 2.19% copper-equivalent.
VTEM data has outlined high conductivity zones at various depths, suggesting potential targets both over existing known zones and in untested areas. This survey could hint at ovoid-type deposits with higher-grade mineralization deeper underground.
