Imagine Health Calgary Clinic Gains Teaching Status

This follows the onboarding of Dr. Michael Tam from the University of Calgary faculty. Dr. Tam will introduce medical residents to the Calgary clinic, marking a strategic milestone for the company.
This new teaching status is expected to enhance Imagine Health's physician recruitment and retention across their network in Edmonton and Vancouver. CEO of DataMetrex, Paul Haber, emphasized the importance of this affiliation with the academic community, expecting it to support clinic growth and physician recruitment.
Furthermore, Imagine Health aims to address the substantial demand for rheumatology services in Calgary. The addition of Dr. Richard Akintayo is set to mitigate long waiting periods for these services. Additionally, in Edmonton, Dr. Kennedy Uzodinma will begin seeing patients in June, which is part of a broader strategy to alleviate stress on emergency centers.
