Macao Week Debuts at China Pavilion, Expo 2025 Osaka

On October 3, 2025, Macao Week commenced at the China Pavilion within Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan. This three-day event, themed "Experience Macao", runs from October 2-4, showcasing creative exhibitions, business exchanges, cultural performances, and interactive experiences. It highlights Macao's developmental achievements and serves as a cultural and economic showcase.

The pavilion includes "Macao Impressions", which uses digital imagery to display UNESCO World Heritage sites and tourism projects. "East-West Fusion" presents grand scenes like fireworks and food festivals. "World Heritage Walk" offers virtual tours of historical Macao, featuring interactive screens. Macao's mascot "Mak Mak" and performances such as Portuguese folk and lion dances add to the attractions.

This marks Macao's return to the World Expo stage after 15 years, emphasizing its role as a hub for cultural exchange and innovation. The pavilion has attracted over 1.7 million visitors since its opening in April 2025.
