The CENTAURE contract has been signed between Eutelsat and the Ministry of the Armed Forces.

Eutelsat and the French Ministry of the Armed Forces have officially signed the CENTAURE contract, within the framework of the NEXUS agreement. This eight-year contract, capped at €350 million, begins with a firm tranche of €138 million over four years. It aims to provide low Earth orbit satellite capabilities, meeting the strategic needs of the French Ministry of Defense.

The NEXUS project, launched in 2025, aims to strengthen military satellite communication capabilities. The CENTAURE contract guarantees sustainable access to secure satellite resources. With its OneWeb constellation, Eutelsat offers readily available connectivity solutions, thereby reinforcing national security.
