Thales Reports Order Intake and Sales Growth by September 2025
Thales announced a notable increase in performance for the first nine months of 2025. The company recorded an order intake of €16.8 billion, marking an 8% increase, and sales reaching €15.3 billion, a growth of 8.4%. This growth was primarily driven by strong performance in Aerospace and Defence sectors. However, the Cyber & Digital segment saw a slight decline, with a -3.8% decrease in sales.
The Defence segment experienced significant growth with a 13.9% rise in sales. Key orders include agreements with Space Norway, the Dutch Ministry of Defence, and a substantial contract for Rafale Marine jets with the Indian Navy. Geographically, Europe led the mature markets with a 57% hike in orders.
Overall, Thales remains confident in achieving its financial targets for the year, maintaining a book-to-bill ratio above 1 and an adjusted EBIT margin between 12.2% and 12.4%.
