Tarkett Achieves CDP A Score for Climate Leadership

Tarkett, a leader in flooring and sports surfaces, has received an A Score from CDP for the second consecutive year. This recognition ranks Tarkett among the top environmental performers globally. The A Score reflects Tarkett's commitment to best practices in climate management.

Arnaud Marquis, Tarkett’s Sustainability & Safety Officer, emphasized the significance of this recognition. He stated the company's focus on reducing scope 3 emissions and aligning with planetary boundaries to support clients in lowering their carbon footprints.

CDP, a non-profit organization, has made its assessments more rigorous by aligning with the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. Tarkett’s climate goals, approved by the Science Based Targets initiative, aim for a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

Beyond climate recognition, Tarkett earned EcoVadis’ Platinum Medal since 2023 and is listed among Europe’s Climate Leaders by the Financial Times and Statista.
