Taicang Day in Munich: Celebrating 18 Years of Sino-German Collaboration
The 18th "Taicang Day" took place at BMW Welt Auditorium in Munich, emphasizing two decades of economic and cultural partnership between the Chinese city of Taicang and Germany. The event gathered around 300 political and business figures to explore bilateral collaboration. Since its debut in Stuttgart in 2008, "Taicang Day" has evolved into a platform integrating technology, education, and sports.
Prominent speakers included representatives from both nations, discussing avenues for collaboration. Chen Gao, Secretary of the CPC Taicang Municipal Committee, highlighted projects underscoring Taicang's green and innovative pivot. Agreements were made to facilitate cooperation, alongside key presentations on sustainable practices by Taicang enterprises.
Taicang, known as the "Home of German Enterprises" in China, hosts over 560 German firms and offers robust industrial and logistic networks. The city's commitment to providing a conducive environment for international businesses is further enhanced by its service ecosystem for expatriates.
