SURTECO GROUP SE: Increase in Adjusted EBITDA Despite Sales Dip
SURTECO GROUP SE announced a slight decline in sales to €623.1 million for the first nine months of 2026, down 3% from the previous year's figures. This decrease is attributed to weak demand and discontinued operations in impregnates since May 2025. Notably, the adjusted EBITDA rose by 4% to €76.2 million, illustrating improved profitability across all business segments.
The increase in adjusted EBITDA highlights the group's successful internal efficiency initiatives despite rising raw material costs. However, a decrease in EBIT to €15.2 million and EBT to €0.2 million was reported due to higher depreciation and amortization costs.
SURTECO maintains optimistic forecasts for 2026, projecting sales between €790 million and €820 million, with adjusted EBITDA expectations between €80 million and €90 million.
