Sunstar Launches Global Mouth-to-Body Health Institute

Sunstar has announced the creation of the Mouth-to-Body Health™ Institute in Etoy, Switzerland. The institute aims to propel research on the connection between oral health and overall health, promoting better prevention and care. This platform will unite experts from fields such as dentistry, medicine, and public health to explore how oral health influences systemic health.

The institute will focus on periodontal health science, the oral microbiome, and the interplay between oral and general health. Under the leadership of Dr. Marcelo W.B. Araujo, the initiative will leverage novel research tools and interdisciplinary collaborations. A Global Scientific Advisory Board will support this effort, aiming to convert scientific discoveries into practical health benefits.
