Organizational Challenges in Maximizing HCM Investments, Reports Strada

Strada's latest research highlights a significant gap between the capabilities of HR and payroll systems and their actual value realization. Despite continued investments in advanced technologies, many organizations struggle with manual checks and outdated processes. The research, presented in Strada's Workforce Possibility Report 2026, shows that 77% of large employers still rely on manual systems, indicating an ongoing operational risk.

Surveying senior leaders from 405 organizations worldwide, the report reveals that only 23% have cut down on manual payroll tasks significantly, while a mere 21% note a considerable improvement in compliance confidence. The complexity and fragmentation of systems are hampering performance and strategic execution, as noted by 81% of organizations. Data visibility and real-time payroll insights are also critical challenges, with only 39% of organizations achieving real-time visibility.
