STRABAG's Acquisition of AKH Operating Company Cancelled

STRABAG SE announced that its planned acquisition of VKMB Krankenhausmanagement und Betriebsführungsges.m.b.H., which operates Vienna General Hospital, will not proceed. This decision follows the termination of discussions with VIACAMA AG (formerly VAMED AG). STRABAG had aimed to expand its operations through this acquisition. The company provided this update in accordance with Article 17 of the EU Regulation No 596/2014, which mandates disclosure of inside information. The cancellation marks a significant shift in STRABAG's strategic direction concerning hospital management operations.
