STRABAG SE Continues Negotiations for VAMED Group Acquisition

STRABAG SE, alongside PORR AG, remains engaged in negotiations to acquire parts of the VAMED Group. The initial purchase agreement, made in May 2024 with VAMED AG, a Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA entity, remains incomplete. Key conditions, including competition authority approval, have yet to be met by the agreed deadline.

The pending acquisition concerns entities such as VAMED-KMB Krankenhausmanagement and VAMED Standortentwicklung. These include technical operations and construction at Vienna General Hospital, plus Austrian project development and spa businesses.

The STRABAG-PORR partnership is actively re-negotiating terms with VAMED AG to address these outstanding issues and progress towards completion.
