Storm Exploration Announces 2026 Drill Program at Gold Standard Project

Storm Exploration Inc. has revealed its 2026 plans to explore the VMS target at its Gold Standard Project in Northwestern Ontario. The project features a 5km conductivity anomaly from recent airborne survey data, interpreted as a potential VMS system. Inco's historical drilling encountered significant sulphide mineralization, although no assays were completed.

The planned field program involves ground geophysics, mapping, prospecting, and soil sampling, followed by 10 to 15 core holes. These efforts aim to uncover precious metals and critical minerals, with drilling expected over 2,000m to 3,000m.

Gold-copper potential has been highlighted with high-grade surface rock samples collected in 2022 near the HW-271 showing. The site hosts historical gold mines and gold mineralization in shear-hosted quartz veins.

CEO Bruce Counts notes the project's electromagnetic anomaly, historical drilling findings, and high-grade mineralization as promising elements for exploration progression.
