STMicroelectronics Updates on Share Repurchase Program
STMicroelectronics N.V., a prominent player in the global semiconductor market, has provided an update on its ongoing share repurchase initiative. From June 2 to June 6, 2025, the Company acquired 306,864 ordinary shares via Euronext Paris, equating to 0.03% of its total issued share capital. The shares were bought at an average price of EUR 23.4410 each, totaling EUR 7,193,194.23. These transactions support commitments related to share option programs and other allocations to employees and management.
The repurchased shares can be held in treasury for future use or allocated towards other lawful objectives as outlined in the Market Abuse Regulation. Following this latest buyback, STMicroelectronics now holds a total of 16,085,740 treasury shares, representing around 1.8% of its issued share capital.
