Stillwater Critical Minerals Expands Exploration Program at Stillwater West

Stillwater Critical Minerals Corp. has launched its most extensive exploration program at the Stillwater West project in Montana. This initiative includes adding a third drill rig, field crew mobilization, and multiple technical initiatives to foster resource growth. The company is in the final stages of an updated 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate, expanding from its January 2023 estimate by incorporating results from various drilling campaigns.

Significant undertakings involve a passive seismic Ambient Noise Tomography survey by Fleet Space Technologies and additional surface Induced Polarization lines by Simcoe Geoscience. The primary goals include expanding near-surface resources at Chrome and Iron Mountain and targeting higher-grade nickel-copper-PGE sulphide mineralization.

Stillwater West is considered one of the largest undeveloped polymetallic mineral systems in the U.S., hosting essential resources such as nickel, copper, and platinum group elements. The project benefits from established infrastructure, including power access and skilled labor.
