Sterling Metals Discovers Extensive Copper System at Soo Copper Project

Sterling Metals Corp. has announced positive results from the final three diamond drill holes at the Soo Copper Project in Ontario. The drill holes expanded on the findings of the inaugural hole, revealing a significant copper-molybdenum-silver-gold porphyry system. The mineralized corridor has been traced over a strike length exceeding 1km and a depth of over 300m, remaining open for further exploration.

In particular, hole CH-25-01 intersected 107.5m grading 0.31% copper equivalent, while subsequent holes MJ-25-02 and MJ-25-03 demonstrated long intervals of mineralization. The presence of a 3-phase porphyry dyke swarm further underscores the potential for significant copper concentrations. Sterling Metals plans to commence its next drill program within the next eight weeks, targeting high-grade zones along the structural corridor.

Geological observations highlighted the presence of extensive copper-rich sulphide mineralization, with significant bornite and chalcopyrite. The company aims to explore deeper and across strike in subsequent drilling phases.
