Sterling Metals Extends High-Grade Copper Zone at Soo Copper

Sterling Metals Corp. reported significant expansion at the Soo Copper Project near Batchewana Bay, Ontario. Results from six additional drill holes have broadened the copper mineralized footprint, further delineating the high-grade bornite zone. Notably, the MEPS zone showcases continuous copper from the surface across approximately 400 meters of east-west strike.

A major highlight includes a 30-meter expansion of the bornite zone with an impressive grade of 38.9% Cu over 0.3 meters in hole MEPS-25-18. This forms part of a broader interval grading 0.5% CuEq over 237.2 meters. The mineralization remains open in multiple directions, supporting further exploration.

Jeremy Niemi, SVP Exploration, emphasized the consistent expansion and clear structural trends guiding future drilling in 2026. Magnetite veins continue as key hosts, indicating potential for a vast porphyry-style copper system.
