Star Copper Corp Expands Supergene Zone in Phase 1 Drilling

Star Copper Corp has announced results from its Phase 1 drilling at the Star Project in British Columbia. Drill hole S-055 reported 311m of 0.42% CuEq, enhancing the oxide footprint. Significant intersections were noted in holes S-053 (81m at 0.6% CuEq) and S-054A (183m at 0.28% CuEq). These results have increased the southwest supergene zone by 50m.

The drilling aimed to examine the grade/fault relationship and improve understanding of the deposit. CEO Darryl Jones expressed optimism, highlighting the potential of the vast porphyry systems. Phase 1 has advanced geologic modeling, with Phase 2 results from multiple zones eagerly anticipated.

The company is set for an aggressive 2026 campaign targeting further exploration and expansion efforts. Geologic modeling has been updated, refining the strategies for future drilling, emphasizing the project's significant mineral potential.
