Star Copper's Copper Creek Drill Extends Beyond Planned Depth
Star Copper Corp. has reported promising developments from its Copper Creek drill in northwestern British Columbia. The company's first follow-up drill hole of the 2026 campaign intersected targeted geophysical features, leading to an extension beyond its planned depth. This decision was based on observed continued alteration, sulphide mineralization, and favorable host rocks, which suggests a substantial copper-gold mineralized system potential at Copper Creek.
The technical team encountered strong alteration and mineralized intervals throughout the lower portion of the hole, reinforcing Copper Creek's significant potential. Star Copper plans further drilling to explore the northern and southern extents of the mineralized corridor. Advanced surveys are scheduled to refine district-scale targeting across the Star Project, aiming to enhance their understanding of the mineralization control.
