Springer Nature Sees Robust Growth in H1 2025
Springer Nature reported a 6% increase in revenue and a 10% rise in adjusted operating profit (AOP) in H1 2025. The strong performance was mainly driven by the Research segment, leading to revised full-year guidance for increased revenue and AOP. Research brought in €731 million with 7% revenue growth, spurred by high submission volumes and new transformative agreements.
The firm's focus on open access and technology investments contributed to its success. Free cash flow rose by 51% to €204 million, with a reduced leverage ratio of 1.9x. Efforts in AI development are expected to enhance future operations.
Springer Nature now predicts annual revenue between €1,930 million and €1,960 million, with AOP expected between €540 million and €560 million, highlighting the company's strategic momentum and financial improvements.
