Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute to Launch I20 Summit in Miami
The Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI) has announced the first I20 Summit, set to occur alongside the G20 Leaders' Summit in Miami from December 11 to 15, 2026. This event aims to channel US$5 trillion of capital into significant sectors within the United States.
The summit will convene sovereign, pension, and institutional investors from all G20 and allied nations. Over five days, participants will engage in discussions on diverse investment opportunities. Attendees include central bank reserve managers and state officials, with an emphasis on sectors such as energy, digital assets, and advanced manufacturing.
SWFI Chairman Lakshmi Narayanan Ramanujam emphasized the US as a prime investment destination. The Miami event provides a unique platform for states to connect with potential financiers. This initiative highlights Miami's pivotal role in global investment landscapes.
