SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia Marks 10th Year with Unique Formentera Experiences

SON Estrella Galicia Posidonia celebrates its 10th anniversary, highlighting a decade of distinctive festival experiences in Formentera. From October 2–4, the festival revisits significant moments, artists, and places that have shaped its journey. The event challenges traditional festival formats by keeping the line-up secret until the festival begins, featuring both established and emerging artists in intimate settings.

Formentera is integral to the festival, offering attendees the chance to explore the island through performances and guided experiences. This connection includes more than 30 land and sea routes and partnerships with over 140 local businesses. Gastronomy and environmental stewardship are key aspects, with the festival achieving TRUE Zero Waste Platinum certification and becoming zero-emissions since 2021.

Over the years, the festival has hosted 83 concerts, including performances by notable artists like Jorge Drexler and The Vaccines. It stands as a testament to creating meaningful cultural, social, and environmental impacts while maintaining its intimate nature.
