SLAM Exploration Secures New Antimony Claims in Bathurst Mining Camp
SLAM Exploration Ltd. (TSXV:SXL) has announced the acquisition of the Moose Lake antimony project through an option agreement. The project, located in the mineral-rich Bathurst Mining Camp of New Brunswick, Canada, includes three antimony showings with previous grades of up to 4.32% antimony and 0.894 g/t gold. These showings, known as Moose Lake, Stewart, and Skull, were initially discovered in 1986.
The agreement entails SLAM acquiring a 100% interest in two mineral claims under specific financial terms, including cash payments and share issuances over three years. Upon completion, the Optionor will retain a 2% net smelter return royalty, with SLAM holding a buyback option for part of the royalty.
Additionally, SLAM plans to extend the expiration dates of 2,700,000 share purchase warrants by one year, pending regulatory approval. These developments reflect SLAM's continued focus on expanding its mineral holdings in a promising mining region.
