SLAM Exploration Reports 18-Meter Mineralized Vein System Drilled at Jake Lee Gold Project
SLAM Exploration Ltd. has completed diamond drilling on its Jake Lee Gold Project in New Brunswick, Canada. The company drilled through quartz and quartz-calcite veining with pyrite, arsenopyrite, and chalcopyrite mineralization in all five holes. Positioned 25 km southeast of the Clarence Stream deposit by Galway Metals Inc., the project showed significant quartz veining in holes JL26-04 and JL26-05, noting an 18-meter zone and a 17-meter zone of mineralization.
The drilling targeted soil geochemical anomalies northeast of the No. 1 vein. 197 samples from these drill cores have been sent for gold assays and ICP analyses. Additionally, trench tests were carried out on gold soil anomalies, gathering 39 samples for further analysis. SLAM Exploration has secured a diamond drilling contract for further ventures and is poised for additional drilling at its projects, including Goodwin, Moose Lake, and Menneval.
