Skyborn Acquires Full Control of Nordergründe Offshore Wind Farm

Skyborn Renewables has announced the full acquisition of the Nordergründe offshore wind farm in Germany, becoming the sole owner of the 111 MW facility. Initially, Skyborn held 30% ownership while the remaining 70% was owned by other investors. This strategic move aligns with the company's integrated infrastructure platform model, focused on end-to-end management of offshore wind assets.

Commissioned in 2017 and located in the German North Sea, the wind farm consists of 18 turbines, supplying renewable electricity to approximately 90,000 households. Skyborn’s complete acquisition of the Nordergründe wind farm underscores its commitment to optimizing performance and maximizing long-term value.

This decision supports Skyborn’s strategic aims and highlights its role as a fully integrated offshore wind platform. The acquisition allows for enhanced operational flexibility and efficiency, further enriching Skyborn’s capacity to internalize key capabilities.
