SINEXCEL Enhances Latvia's Energy Storage with 1725kW PCS
SINEXCEL has equipped Latvia's largest wind farm energy storage project with twelve 1725kW Power Conversion Systems (PCS). This 20.64MWh battery energy storage system, located with the Tārgale wind farm, has commenced its commercial operations, marking a significant step in the Baltic energy sector.
The system is designed for the local frequency balancing market and is the first in the Baltics to qualify for all frequency regulation services. This development aims to enhance grid stability and bolster renewable integration in the region. The PCS achieves an efficiency of 98.5% and supports critical grid-balancing services. It is engineered for harsh conditions, with certifications ensuring compliance in major global markets.
This deployment reaffirms SINEXCEL's capability in utility-scale energy storage, furthering their global market presence with solutions proven at scale across diverse environments.
