SINBON Achieves Key Milestones in Sustainable Supply Chains
SINBON Electronics Co., Ltd., a leading electronics system integrator based in Taipei, has reported significant progress in advancing sustainable practices within its supply chains. As detailed in their latest Sustainability Report, the company achieved a 28.8% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions using 2021 as a baseline. This reflects their commitment to reducing environmental impact.
In renewable energy efforts, SINBON reached a self-owned solar energy capacity of 3 MW, contributing to 9.5% of total electricity consumption being sourced from renewables. Furthermore, they invested USD 38.47 million in research and development, a notable 22% increase from the previous year.
On governance, SINBON introduced a Sustainability Strategy Blueprint to enhance long-term ESG practices. They also maintained a 100% signing rate of their Supplier Code of Conduct among new suppliers, reinforcing supply chain accountability.
