SIMONA Acquires Dutch Cable Protection Suppliers

On June 18, 2025, SIMONA Aktiengesellschaft announced plans to acquire Electroplast B.V. and Dutchclamp B.V., both based in Dordrecht, Netherlands. Electroplast specializes in plastic solutions for cable and pipe protection, focusing on cable protection sheets and ducts. Dutchclamp develops plastic cable clamps for low to high-voltage cables. Together, these companies generate around €17 million in revenue and employ over 30 people. Their main clients include grid operators, energy suppliers, and fiber optics companies.

The acquisition aims to expand SIMONA's Infrastructure business line's product portfolio, enhancing offerings in cable protection. Electroplast's recycling-based products complement SIMONA's sustainable strategy. Dutchclamp contributes with products for secure cable fastening, crucial for substation installations.

The selling entity is Slagboom Beheer B.V., and the transaction will be retroactively effective from January 1, 2025. The financial details remain undisclosed. Through this acquisition, SIMONA gains access to high-growth cable protection markets in the Netherlands and internationally, promoting sustainable transformation with durable plastic solutions.
