Silver X Mining Corp. Boosts Mineral Resource Estimates at Nueva Recuperada Project
Silver X Mining Corp., a growing precious metals company based in Vancouver, has announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Nueva Recuperada Project in Peru. Effective August 31, 2026, the updates lead to a significant increase in the company's resources. The Measured and Indicated resources have surged by 173% to 10.4 million tonnes, translating to 70.8 million ounces of silver equivalent (AgEq), up from 32.5 million ounces. Inferred resources have also grown by 43%, reaching 21.6 million tonnes and 180.9 million ounces AgEq.
Key highlights include the Red Silver unit, noted for having the highest-grade silver resource in the district, with 10.4 million ounces of Measured and Indicated silver and 53.2 million ounces of Inferred resources. The Plata Mining Unit now combines high-grade veins with a new bulk tonnage resource, significantly contributing to the company's resource base.
Silver X is set to file an updated NI 43-101 technical report and expand its PEA, contemplating increased processing capacity beyond the initially planned 3,000 tonnes per day. These developments underscore Silver X's ambition to grow its production capacity and resource base, positioning itself for future growth.
