Shuttle Traffic Overview for April 2025
In April 2025, Getlink's LeShuttle Freight transported 98,751 trucks through the Channel Tunnel, marking a 3% decrease compared to the same month in 2024. Cumulatively, since the beginning of the year, over 400,000 trucks have utilized the shuttle service.
On the other hand, passenger vehicle transport saw a significant rise. LeShuttle carried 204,685 passenger vehicles in April, an 18% increase from April 2024. This brings the total passenger vehicle count to approximately 575,000 for the year to date.
These figures underscore a notable shift in transport dynamics for Getlink's services. The subsequent traffic statistics for May are scheduled for release on 6 June 2025, prior to the market's opening.
