Sensirion Launches Global Availability of VOC and NOx Evaluation Kit
Sensirion has announced the worldwide release of its SEK-SGP4x Evaluation Kit, designed to facilitate the prototyping of VOC and NOx sensors. This kit can now be acquired via Sensirion's global distribution network. It supports the integration of SGP40 and SGP41 gas sensors, focusing on indoor air quality applications.
The evaluation kit is engineered to enable rapid prototyping, featuring an SHT41 humidity and temperature sensor for environmental compensation, yet lacking an onboard microcontroller for greater flexibility. This allows developers direct access to raw sensor outputs via platforms such as Arduino.
The SEK-SGP4x can connect to PCs with Sensirion's SEK-SensorBridge, complemented by the SEK-ControlCenter software, offering users quick air quality assessments. The SGP40 and SGP41 sensors, known for their robustness, comply with health standards like RESET® and WELL Building Standard™.
